Well, I guess I moved back to NM

While I’m making posting to my site work again (womp womp), I realize I could post something saying that I moved back home last year. Well, not home exactly, but I’m back in New Mexico. Not Santa Fe, but Albuquerque, which is a lot closer than I’ve been in more than a decade. If you happen to be seeing this and know me from when I lived here the first time, say hi! Or if you somehow know me from somewhere else and happen to be in the area.

Maybe I’ll write more about my thoughts on returning, but I’ve got this to say: in 2009 when I left I was pretty sure I’d never come back. In 2023 I wasn’t sure if it was a good move but it felt like the right thing to do at the time. Now, a bit over a year later, I’m sure it was. I might not be here forever but it’s good to be home.
